If you’ve received our letters and emails about Lake Holiday, you probably were thinking that we should stop buying so many postage stamps and create a website to get our message out. So we finally did it.
People ask us for information about Lake Holiday, but they often want more than being told the facts. They want to read original documents and reach their own conclusions. And they want the ability to express themselves. The web enables all of that and more.
The site is in the form of a web log, or blog. If you’re not familiar with blogs or just want to find out a bit more about the technical aspects of this one, take a look at our Help tab in the upper right corner of our blog.
One important technical note to help you get the most from our blog: even if they look like a document, most images in our posts are clickable links. If you click on one, it will expand to enable easier viewing or reading. If there are multiple images displayed side-by-side, you can click the “Next” link or press , the > key, to move to the next image in the sequence; similarly, you can click the “Prev” link or press , the < key, to return to the previous image. To close this image view and return to normal browsing, click the "close" link, press (the Esc key), or click anywhere in your browser’s viewport.
We support and encourage open, fact-based discussion on the issues raised in our posts. If you’d like to read more opinions or express your own, click the link to the number of comments below each posting. Links to a small number of recent comments also appear on our sidebar. As in many blogs on the internet, comments are moderated to insure relevance and to prevent spam.
We do not require or expect everyone to agree with our views, but we do expect exchanges to be civil and focused on the facts.
Hopefully, we’ll all benefit from this discussion.
